i have come to realize that the two best motors ever built are the early FORD model naturally aspirated 7.3 diesel and early ford 300. better known has the hot -water six. i see why ford stop making them and the reason why is. you dont have to work on them. my work truck 7.3 has 370,000 miles...
Ok here is my new project! i bought the boat from Stu and it is in real good shape. needs to be painted and assembled! so i will be looking for parts and advise as i go along with this. So! tintman u need to make a road trip home and help get me started!lol. i will post pics as i go along with it!

the 460 i have is out of a 1990 model F-250! hose comes out of bottom of water pump into a box that is mounted on housing for oil filter! the motor is going to be built for boat application! question is! do i need the oil cooler? if so is there anything performance wise that i could use that...
