2500.00 LIBERATOR ON CL!!!!!!!!!! FYI

Just for everyone FYI  the 2500.00 OB liberator on CL I have been watching and called the dude he is a complete DUMB AZZ he will tell you over the phone the boat is lake ready and when you get there the lower unit missing the Int is trashed the trailer needs work.  Tires are bald so on so on.  Motor has low compression. No battery  But he will tell ya it is lake ready.  So dont anyone drive along ways and fall for his BS..      The HULL itself is in decent shape just needs some tlc and maybe recleared.  Just thought I would give everyone some FYI!!    crazy.gif

It would prob be a good deal IF:

1. You had a $20K OB collecting dust
2. You have #1 and about $5K to put into the hull

I saw that one the other day . You can tell its a POS by the pics . I would want to see several more pics before I would drive 5 miles to see that one , but at least its cheap .

The hull could be a neat project if someone wanted to do all the work to repower it as a jet though  think.gif
If the guy wanted to sell it really cheap .

FYI.... bought my Merc from Jacos... great folks...

I would be most concerned with the core in that boat... if that is rotten... well you know...

just another 21' lib that has been sitting in someone's backyard for about a million years uncovered, and broke down, i would really check the transom with that v-8 outboard hanging off of it, with the lower unit or without, did he start it up for you?

My friend that went to look at it said there was no battery available to crank it.

My only reference for cost of an OB was when my boss bought a brand new merc 250, from merc.
