Has anyone ever put a 460 into a Bronco II? Or maybe put a Bronco II body on a 79 Bronco chassis?

At one time L&L Products made a kit for putting a 302/351W in a Bronco II. Not sure about a big block though. May look on their website.

But to answer your 2 questions: no....

Going to start fixing some of my junk! My 79 Bronco body has seen allot better days. Thought the Bronco II on full size Bronco chassis would be fun. I really want a old Bronco but they are too expensive for my beer budget! think.gif

I gotcha... Well, I'm sure it ain't nothin some work with the flaming crescent wrench couldn't handle...

Ideally, that should be the simplest approach, just not sure how far off the 2 wheelbases are. I knew some guys that put full axles under one, but still had the factory transmission & stuff, no bueno for caca...

I'm thinking between suspension lift, and body lift the wheel base mite be acceptable. My long wheel base cab and chassis looks like a short wheel base because of the 44 swampers.
