Canyon Lake Trip??????

Me and the family went out to canyon lake this past weekend and had a great time.That lake has some awesome clear water.We all need to try and put a canyon lake trip together.What do y'all think????????????

I agree!  Unfortunately, it seems every time I go there, the wind blows and all the big boat from Travis show up.  :smile25:  Still though.  It is an awesome lake.  :smile16:

Last summer when we went up there to float the river we took a ride over to Canyon to check it out. Looked great from where we were. Definitely wouldn't mind getting up there sometime.

The main part of the lake does and did get a little windy but is wasn't that bad.We stayed up in a part of the lake that they call "PARTY COVE" a lot of the time.

right,  anyway love to make another trip to canyan,  it was a bad weekend when i was there... the 4th of july and the lake was flood level and one Marina was open  :shocked:

I would go for that! If you stay on the west end of the lake it's not to rough. The east end down by the dam can get real choppy just because of all the boat wakes. The "party cove" is the place to be for sure!
