hahahaha!!!

Not much to them, front & rear engine plates, four (one for each corner) mounting blocks(for lack of a better word) that mount to the stringer...

Can't think of anything else?

might as well add the runners to it also , make it a lot easier to move or relocate the engine if you add something to the driveline , like a jetaway ..

Thats something to consider as well. If you couldn't find the stuff used or at a decent price & had to buy new, may wanna think about just gettin a rail kit. It would be nice to be able to slide the engine forward or back if you had to vs. pulling it completely out...

Don't you need a different bellhousing also? think.gif
The rear mount on a 4 point is different than a 3 point. The rear 3 point does not have any place to bolt feet to go to the stingers, but you can most likely use the front one. The advantage of a rail kit is when you need to relocate the motor for what ever reason you can drill new holes in the rail and not your sringers  :smile30:

You'll have to get rid of the bellhousing mount from the 3 point set-up either way, with 4 point or rail system...

With it being a 1/4 stringer boat, doesn't seem like it has much room in the way of re-locating the motor with out major mods. I do think that the rail kit would distribute the load better. I wan't to get rid of the 3 point mount and like the Harmin system for OE parts seems like a good design. think.gif

See now I can tell you know GhostRider for sure, talkin about huggin big nuts & stuff, lol...

At any rate, I hear ya on the 1/4 stringer deal. You may find a 4 point deal fairly cheap from someone that has changed over to a rail system. As David said, you may be able to re-use the stuff you have on the front, just have to find a rear plate & the mounting feet/blocks... I'll look around, I find something I let ya know.

If anything, the pics in that thread will show you what you'll need to make a 4 pt. system. :smile30:
