It is cold and Nasty outside .. I attempted to make it to work , I drove about 25 miles and turned around and came back home ..
Getting pretty slick on the roads .. So I will work from home today ..

Yeah they said it was going to get pretty nasty up here in the hill country? It's a little wet but didn't quite get cold enough to mess with the roads?

Haha yeah I hear you their! Try living in the retirement capital of Texas?? When you see them in heb running over everything and everyone in the isle with their shopping carts they drive their Cadillacs the same way! Lol

Man....drove almost 20 miles to work in this crap...slipping and sliding. I didn't go above 30mph but there were some morons running twice that.

Only problem I had was getting onto the George Bush from 75 and some idiot lady doing, no kidding, 4 mph. My truck needs a little momentum though I made it up the climb, several others behind me got stuck because they were going too slow.

yes, there is such a thing as going too slow on ice.

Anyway, I'm here.....and my boss just now text me and said not to come into work.

Too late, I'm here and you're paying me...........sir!!!! Lol.

You have both kinds of idiot drivers , too fast and too slow , both just as dangerous in my eyes .. Be careful Cliff getting home

The cold front came thru Katy about 4:30 PM yesterday. By 8:30 PM is was 53 with a stiff north wind. It was 43 at the house this morning. I heard it's going to be nasty all week.

No work again today .. I tried to make it to work and got to Cresson and maybe 2 miles past there the road is completely iced over.. From Granbury to Cresson was not bad , one lane was dry and Ok to drive in , as soon as you past Cresson , road was completely iced over , two wrecks within a mile .. Turned around and back at home now ..  Freaking Winter can go away . I will take the Texas heat any day over this cold stuff

Cold and nasty out this morning were attempting a run to Orange and Beaumont gotta get those cars picked up :smile20:
