Nice looking ride . But those valve covers look like a Big Block ??  three bolt on top , wouldn't that be a big block  ??

Maybe I need better glasses ..

Yea its a 283 stroked to 540", has inducer, stainless A, jetaway and 175 shot of nitrous. The hull is a 2006 warhawk TX 19,I have owned this one for about two years. :smile13:

The TX 19, Just got it off the dyno tues. Working on it tonight trying to hit the lake tomorrow :smile19:
Made it to the lake yesterday, The Blower motor ran GREAT it turned the ab impeller 6700. a little much for my liking going to try the aa stainless next week that should help a bunch. I would like to see it around 6000. :smile15: Also had another problem around 95 the boat started to surge or cavatate, not sure but may need a deeper shoe. any thoughts

I've had the same problem,it's probobly cavitating, put a 4 ft. straight edge down the keel and see how far above the keel line your shoe is,i've has to make some shims to lower my shoe,i'm even with the keel line now, don't want to go below that,it's better but i'm going to open the intake up a little more(cut shoe deeper).
I also put a tap on the suction housing and ran a plastic line to a pressure gauge i can read to see what it is doing.I have to hold it in my hand to read it,kinda hard to read gauges above 100+.
Should be safe as long as you don't go below keel line.
Putting the pressure gauge on it will tell you how close you are and how safe it is,too high of pressure is not good.

Thanks turboed I will take a look at that. what is good pressure around 20 ? and drill and tap the suction piece about half way down on the side right. BTW my shoe is 1/2" right now.

I have a dominator suction housing and i drilled it between the 2 ribs, but ya, half way down would be good.40 psi was good for me but it would drop to 20 psi and cavitate.70 to 80 psi is tooooo much.
If you have a diverter you may try one more notch up,that would get the tail down a little more and may be enough, then you'll know you are close.
what's impotant is just how far the shoe hangs down compared to the keel line.
If you have to make shims get some .065 aluminum sheet, cut and drill to fit and add 1 @ a time.I had to add 3 shims, make sure your bolts use up all the treads available, get longer ones if needed.
