NSRA appreciation day will be on Sat. July 10th this year at Sachse Rod Shop. Lots of cool old cars and trucks. Spectator and overflow parking is in the high school parking lot across the street. I will most likely get stuck directing traffic again this year.      :smile28:

Frank's shop is pretty cool, some nice cars coming out of there.  Been there a few times and taken a couple of his courses at Eastfield.

I keep telling Frank it would be cool to work on a boat occasionally but he says we will never see that day. He says there is no reason to ever be put in a situation of possibly needing to swim. He just has never been in a good boat I guess. :evil:

Come by the shop on Saturdays between 9am and 1pm and we give tours.  If you come by through the week we always let customers look through the doors from the drive. We are one of if not the oldest continuously operating hot rod shop in the south. Its on Miles Rd. about 5 minutes from Firewheel Mall.

Good group of guys up there.  They turn out some nice projects.  Bought my CPP brake stuff from them to put 4 wheel disk on my 72 Chevy truck earlier this year.

It was a great trip other than my knee.  Everyone should go at least once.  I was a little worried about the crowd on a holiday weekend but it was not really that bad.  I'd go back next year on the 4th without hesitation.  I'll give you more details next time we see ya at the lake.
