So, what are your plans for that outboard?  I've never gotten in to the outboard modification side of things.  How does all that work?

I know how it works. First you remove the outboard, then you insert BBF and a jet pump! Now you have a bad azz boat! :smile26: :angel: I'm sorry Knotty girl, I'm interested in your performance mods also. I won't let that happen again! :angel:

I am learning about this outboard stuff to.  I always ran BBC.  I am changing the power head from a 200 to a 260.  Me are making modifacations to it also.  I am raising the motor up 1/2 of an inch and going to play with different props.  I do have a friend that races professionally helping me.  The main thing I want to keep it in the water.  I do not want to blow that thing over.  This is a learning process for me.

I always heard the term power head, I figured that would be a first mod. I didn't know you could run the motor up anymore. It seems like it was already out of the water pretty far!

Depending on your set up you can raise it.  1 inch can make 10mph. Just depends how it set on the transom and how far back it sets.  You can go too high and have a negitive effect.  I will keep playing with it until I get the most from it.  The prop has alot to do with it also.  I am borrowing alot of them to try different ones.  Getting the right mix bwtween hole shot and top end. I have alot to learn.  crazy.gif

I am shooting for triple digits next year. I am also changing guages and some graphics.  Going to put the name on her.  Karol is so excited about the name especially when I tell people I named it after her. :smile17:

Heck I feel lucky  :smile27: Most of the time Big Block Folk do not even talk to us Egg Beaters.  That's ok I do not like most of the Egg Beater either.  Did I say that out load :smile21:

It's ok.  Wacker boats have a sorta 'disturbing' characteristic that I admire and fear.  They seem to live on the edge.
