I'm not a hater. I own a vehicle from each manufacture. Faster slower what ever, ya gotta admit the Camaro is a much better looking car... Guess it depends on weather you want a Supermodel or a Body builder..lol

why does the mustang need the x pipe, aftermarket intake, and a performance tune and then make him run a stock camaro to get a win? i like both cars but think they should run same to same to get a comparison.

Also - the Boss 302 has 444 hp stock. CAI, X-pipe, and tune could easily add 30+ horsepower (emphasis on the PLUS), making this a "more" fair fight than they indicate.

Boss 302 base price - $42,995

Camaro ZL1 base price - $54,095

For $11k difference would you turbo/supercharge or just buy a GT500 and be done (base price of $54,000).

If you're going to say that, then just buy a Camaro SS and turbo/supercharge that. Then what happens to the Boss?

Or buy a CTS-V used, pulley, tune, exhaust - be under the base price of the Boss 302 and beat the pants off of it.

Or...buy a 92 Mustang, put a LQ4 in it with a NOS kit and beat them all.

Or buy a Hayabusa, mod it and turn easy 8's.

Price does come into it...but the bottom line is the "test" you posted is pretty deceptive.
