Need some lake advice from my Northern Brethern

We're from San Antonio and my dad is coming through The Dallas area the week before the 4th. He's staying at the RV Park at Joe Pool at least he had plans to. We subsequently rented and prepaid for for a cabin at joe pool and were planning on bringing our boat. The cabin has been unaffected so we'll likely stay there,we had to prepay, as long as his RV spot is still functional. The folks at Loyd Park tell me there's no way to put a boat on the lake unless it's in a slip and they're not allowing swimming. I know get to the advice part...

Part of our plan was to go to Whitney on Saturday and then head for Joe Pool on Sunday. The kids love skiing and boarding and I kick them out and drive my boat once in a while. Should I even be considering hauling the boat up to Dallas?  If it matters I have a Ram 4x4 diesel as a tow vehicle. Thanks for your opinions.

Man there aint no telling right now? Whitney is still 14 ft above normal with trash and more expected with this next storm coming.
And Joe Pool is almost 13 ft. above. Now Bridgeport, Eagle Mountain and Lake Worth look to be at normal levels but I don't know if any of the parks are open yet because of the past flooding or even if they have been closed at all?

Being part of the Joe Pool and Lake Whitney crowd, we have  been discussing going to Tawakoni .... Joe Pool not useable and last time I went across river at Kimball Bridge it was not good. Trash and High water..... looking like Tawakoni best bet for us for foreseeable future.  Problem is, boat is stored at Armadillo at Whitney and so long trip down for boat and long trip to Tawakoni.... The flat stays here but needs some work before I put in water.

here is shot of Joe Pool.. check out the roof of restroom in parking lot.........

Texoma is still flooded and there's no telling at this point when it will be usable.

The northern guys are going over to Tawakoni this Sunday. I think about 15 of the lake laavon boats and several of the Tawakoni guys will be there. We plan on hanging out at the 429 marina.

C'mon out! One of our guys is setting up the buoys too! We meet up between 12-1pm. Nice area.

I don't think anyone wants me running buoys in my Nordic Rage. I spoke with the folks at Loyd Park and they gave me the option of a full refund. Very much appreciated that. The lakes filling is great just looks like we won't feel that benefit until August or September.
