There’s not a nice place. When we used to have those get togethers at Salina Bay, it was owned by Billy. He absolutely loved us and was actually started to expand the park. When he passed some years back, the new owner decided it was going to be full time living people there. When I bought the yellow race boat, that’s the first place we were going to test it at. I got stopped at that ramp there and was told our kind wasn’t welcomed and it was all privately owned. That part of the lake was actually the good side with no stumps. I get phone calls every other week about boat damage because they hit a stump on Lake Palestine.

How far is your drive to Steele Creek, Lake Whitney area?
We are North of Houston. So I think it's around 3 hour drive to get up there. But we have been looking for an excuse to go up there on an non-event weekend so that we can check out the area a little better. I know they have had some flooding here lately. So probably need to give them a little while to recover.
