Plowman is Closed until April 2016

I talked to the Corp of Engineers this morning to confirm that the rumor is true that Plowman Creek Park will be closed until April 2016..  :smile25: :smile25: :smile25: :smile25: :smile25: :smile25: :smile25: :smile25: :smile25:    She was unable to tell me when Steel Creek would open .. They are working two parks at a time to get them opened back up , but they do not have a time frame on any of them to open yet ..

I received a notice yesterday the Plowman reservation was cancelled.
That sucks.

I was hoping with talking to the lady this morning at the Corp of Engineers office , she would be able to tell me about Steel Creek ..That is my testing water for the fast boat and I am missing that water .. I want to go to Steel Creek in case nobody picked up on that .. LOL  Not interested  in going any where else for the first test runs .. It is close to the ramp and close to all the tools and parts I may need to tune the engine and to adjust the plates .. This sucks --

It's fresh off the dyno Billy it should be close enough to go and make. Few runs and get some feel for how the current set up works.  jump.gif

I am just waiting for some good water so I can go play and not have to contend with a big group of boats trying to prove something .. I prefer our little group that goes to Steel Creek or Plowman to be there with me in case something happens .. I know I can count on them to help me if something bad happen .. . The water at my lake that is 1/2 mile away from my house is looking pretty good now .. Just the local Lake patrols do not like my boat .. It's too loud according to them ..

The way it is going , I am money ahead and the boat will last longer like this .. LOL .. It is killing me inside not to be out playing , but I have learned to take my time and that is what I am doing this year .. Hell I may be scared of this new power plant.. I may become  a trailer queen .. NOT !!!!!!
