Road kill?

I saw an interesting site this morning. Unfortunately I didn't get a picture but it made me think about the definition of roadkill. Is the roadkill the dead buck I saw, or the smashed and burnt Lexus that hit it? I have never seen a suv burn from hitting a deer!  think.gif

I went to a school with the Maryland State Police Department, (Helicopter flight training) and those guys had tons of pictures of cars trucks and motorcycles after hitting deer.  They loose 10 police cars a year in collisions with Deer.

I figured that deer belonged to whom ever hit it! They probably could have thrown it on the hood and cooked it on the way home! :smile20:

Unfortunately in Texas its illegal to take home the deer you may have hit or happened to hit you.  It has to be picked up and disposed of by animal control.
