I was out on the river sunday with my father and we hit a cliff just south of banana bend, when we got back to loves we were talking to someone about a droop snoot they were going to sell. if you were the one then shoot my father a message at (jetboat jim) because we forgot the name the guy gave us.  but as for the boat we are trying to decide if we want to repair it or trash it and get a tunnel hull. thanks,

Really sorry to hear about the boat . Not sure who around here has a droop for sale , but you might take a look in the wants and needs section . Post up some pics of the boat and the damage that was done to it in the crash , someone here might be able to help you with repairs or advice on how to repair it if you are doing the work yourself . Oh yeah , welcome to THB .

well we installed the new place diverter and did not adjust the steering to the left we only adjusted it to the right and so when the wheel was turned all the way to the left the pump was only turned about a quarter of the way but we didnt notice it when we turned out of loves because we were going to slow but we were cruising about 30-35 when we were going around the left turn just past bannana bend and couldnt get it turned enough, but it is repairable, we have a friend that does fiberglass work and that painted the boat so it wont be to terribly long before we hit the river again. i will try to post pics on here today. but the good thing is that we did not get hurt.

Thats good to hear noone was hurt & the boat ain't hurt too bad. I know that feeling of not turning correctly & it ain't good.... One afternoon approaching a lefthand curve on the river here, I found I had the wheel turned as far left as it would go but the boat wasn't responding as it should. I made the corner, but it freaked me out pretty good, lol.. Come to find out, my steering tube had come loose & came out of adjustment. With the wheel turned all the way to the left, the nozzle was just barely off center. Easy fix & I added it to my list of things to check when getting the boat ready for a lake trip, definitely don't want that happening again.

Welcome to THB by the way, glad to have ya....

well i think this boat may not make back out to the river with us, maybe with another owner but we are looking at a eliminator instead of doing all the work on this boat. sorry i havent gotten any pics on here, with the holiday and all that fiberglass work i have been doing on my new boat i havent had the time.

well i know it is a tunnel and its a eliminator but i dont know what model, i do know that it is flimsy and not made to be a regular lake boat. it was set up for drag racing.
