Thought i ran out of fuel......so opened other tank...still wouldn't restart....pulled the line and it was getting fuel.
Just charged battery and still no go....got fuel...no spark.

I am a Ford fan and I have seen that view also, so..........................they ALL break!

Yep MSD dist and box....just need to find out if the box is getting power......hope i have those wiring diagrams for the box i didn't install in the dirt tracker.

MSD has all the instuctions on there web site to check it, JUST did all this with mine, found the box to be the problem, Cost $44.44 to have the Box repaired by MSD.

Yea I've seen this happen too much.. just put the box as far front as you can... they don't care for water that much....

We had a great time, for the short time we were there. Didn't get there til around 12:45 and had to leave around 5:00.  Saw shimp at the put in ramp, drove around to Pecan, but nobody there but the Wake board boats, drove down to the dam and met up with 460rogers.  We pulled him back to the ramp and were just leaving when Just Knotty showed up.  Wish we could of stayed, but my wife is a red head and 4 hours in the sun is her limit.

OK did the jumper wire test and i get one spark and then nothing....tried another coil...same thing one spark.Will try another MSD box.

Went to hook the new box .......traced the little red (ign) wire to a loose connection....i hate squeeze on terminals....fixed it and it fired right up.


Still gonna carry a good tow rope.

I am not sure how we missed you Jim, and the 460rogers boat, I saw you (Jim) a couple times out on the water but we must not have been at Pecan when you cruised by there, we were there most of the afternoon/evening till almost sunset had a large crowd of folks partying it up over there, lots of my peeps from this area, and lots of others.  Hung out with Henry and Carol for a while, then they went home, we stayed another couple hours.  I am sure we will catch you next time, today we did some fishing early and a friends boat broke down and I had to haul him back to overlook from pecan to get his truck/trailer so might have missed you then also.  But anyway, was a good day to be over at Pecan, but the rest of the lake was pretty rough for my boat, but it held up fine, motor mounts good.

Hey your buddy that broke down...was it the silver boat with no motor cover,that he just put a stock 454 in and it started knocking??
If so i met him at the overlook ramp unloading and when he came to get his truck to load up.
