Nice boat Randy. I know that boat has got some really good stories behind it. Maybe you could share a few. I know Big Al would be proud you are putting back on the water.

598 CID Engine Single 4V for now makes over 800 HP on pump gas And for the outdrive it is getting a B-Maxwith 1.24 gears This boat has been 146 MPH with 1500 HP.As of this day engine is in drive is on.I just need to run fuel lines and do the electrical.Had to rebuild the trailer new wheel cylinders master cylinder new tires. This boat has not seen the water in 8 years as of this month.
And yes Bill I have had a great time in this boat with Big Al.Never forget when we went to LOTO Shootout and won our class was a great time.Big Al will be missed but CATTASS will allways have a copiliot from the sky. Will post some more pics of engine and drive need to download them from my phone

One of the best stories was when Big Al was letting a friend drive the boat and make a high speed pass here on lake Granbury. Well story has it they made a sharp turn too fast, dug the sponson and flipped the boat in the lake. Water was mid 50's and threw all 3 of them (about my sizes) out of the boat. Big Al said it happened so fast and they went so deep in the water he thought he would never make it to the top. The boat was not damaged just floating upside down in the lake. Then the BRA tied a rope to it and pulled to shore upside down and damage the paint and the sccop on the motor was like a dredge pulling the bottom of lake Granbury. Big Al passed away a few years ago but was well known here on Lake Granbury. It will be nice to see the boat back on the water here in Granbury.

Hope Randy will post some pics of the boat running at the LOTO shootout. It was prop only in the water. He has the new motor in it and the drive back in it. Hope to see it on the water soon.
