Have it welded back together and run it. :smile17:shimp said:Not sure when this happened, but pretty sure it was yesterday, probably when I pulled a pretty good wheelie or hit a really rough wave from the wakeboard boats. Noticed it while I was cleaning up today. Anyone got a rail mount kit for sell? Im shopping around for one...
KONA said:sorry for the bad luck, but food for thought, got thru your rig before hitting the water at the beginning of season, and look for loose nuts bolts, leaking water hoses, etc., hope you get it back together quickley
Will have to pick it up and move it Fwd at the very least, use Nylock nuts on ALL mounting bolts when you bolt it back down.shimp said:Well figured out WHY it broke:
Front opposite side mounting bolt nut fell off....
I found a local guy who can weld the plate back up for me. He is Jim Talbot in Waller, does a lot of hot rods and custom restorations, got a big A$$ shop over there. Now I just got to get the plate off... I guess there is no way to get it off there without pulling the motor? Don't look like it... See pic of said bolt that nut fell off of....

I know right... I checked everything BUT those bolts.... learn lesson the hard way sometimes....
Note to self: ADD to Pre-flight Inspection: Check motor mount bolts
AND Loaders!KONA said:i go thru my whole boat, for one reason i have an engine over, fixing to pull it off and go thru the check list, then i'll put it on the water without the cover on it and run it and double check all fittings, nuts, bolts, and water hoses, don't want something to happen under there, cause ya will never know it, till it's to late......
kinda hope everyone will check their rig out well, so they have a safe and fun filling season,, but the way, check them wheel bearings :smile16:
