Yet another new guy!

I am getting back into boating after about 25 years without one. My wife and I live in McKinney, that is north Texas to all you southern guys. ha

Bought a 1980 Sunkist Jet and gutted it. I am about to take it to Sid in Houston for paint to match my truck. I have forgotten most of what I knew about boats, jets and motors, so I look forward to getting advice from all of you experts out there.

Thanks Jasson for getting me hooked up here. I know I will enjoy. Look forward to meeting some of you on the lake next summer.....

Hey Bobby, glad to see you logged in. This is Cliff and we spoke on the phone yesterday a few times. I too live in McKinney......not to far from Raytheon.

Hope you get a chance to hang with us Lavon folks.......we have a pretty large group of friends and you're more than welcome to hang with us. Just watch the THB boards, we've always got something going on.

Welcome to the boards, glad to have ya. Nice lookin sled, I'd have had a hard time tearing that thing down, it looks ready for the lake, lol... Goin full on paintjob, or some stripework, or.... When you do get started, don't forget the progress pics..  :cool:

Going with a full paint job. Matching the truck yellow and gunmetal. Nothing fancy just better then what I have now. The paint is not as good close up as it looks in the pictures.

Bought a 454 that came out of a vette and I am looking for a set of 600 - 650 carbs to put on top of a tunnel ram I have. That may have to wait till I get the seats done.

Thanks for the compliments. I really like this style of hull. I had one back in the late 70's early 80's. I really enjoyed it.

Hey Bobby, I thought I saw you and your yellow Hummer at the CVS yesterday at Virginia and 75. As it turns out, it wasn't you. Lol.
