I have decided that if you take your boat to ANYONE to work on it you will be waiting twice as long as you want to and paying three times as much as you expect . Nothing against people who work on boats , but all of thier work shows up at the same time and they tend to over promise to get the buisness . I am to the point that if it is something I can do myself I would prefer to work on my own boat and just make the time to get it done , even when I really don't have the time .

I recieved some more pics yesterday. The boat looks pretty rough inside. I'm not sure if it is worth the $1,000.00 he wants. It has what looks to be a really old pump, trashed interior, and a band-aid on the big block. So I think it might be more than I can chew!

I have a Berkley pump that someone could get fairly reasonable . No split bowl , but it would be good for a little cruiser project .
