So the 20th it is. MY wife talked to the park folks and they are still not taking reservations. Now the rumor part: They are cutting down dead trees at Yegua. When they are finished they will open Yegua and close Rocky so they can cut down more dead trees. When this is all gonna happen, even the park people don't know.

Yegua is a pretty nice park. Or it was last time we stayed there, but it has been awhile. Nice campsites, 3 lane boat ramp with pretty fair amount of parking, maybe even little more than Rocky Creek. And of course the nice beach there.

They are cutting down 50 more trees at Yegua. After they clean up the mess they will open the park.

Yegua was the only park we every stayed at. started going there when I was a kid. nice park.. we will see..

I'll try to make this one if nothing else at least for a day trip.  Will be camping out there weekend of May 10-12, that's the plan anyway so far.  So anyone who can't make the April 20th deal, come hang with us May 10-12, unless your working that weekend too....
