Spent the weekend at Brackenridge park. This really is a nice facility for those who want to get out of the city for the weekend. Lake Texana seems like it can be a little rough, but you can tow over to the Navidad/ Lavaca river for some flat water. A few pics attached.
Yessir, Brackenridge Park is pretty nice. The Texana side of the campground is actually a little nicer in my opinion, but it's been closed for some maintenance. Supposed to be open soon though. Far as the river, hard to beat that place. I may be biased though
