I am hoping it is close to 800 HP and TQ about 750.. But will be Happy at what ever it comes out to be .. With only 10.25:1 it may hurt the HP numbers ..Most likely need more compression to move the air better , but I wanted a pump gas deal .. So let see what happens this weekend .. I am also just a driver and should not be guessing at the number..

No matter what it will move your tub quite well, and that is one of the nicest flatbottoms around for sure.

I am sitting at work and I just want to jump in the car and head that way right now ..Can't wait .. Wish I could bring it home with me , but it will not fit in the trunk of the car ..
It will be fun spending Christmas with Galen and his family ..

Billy
I'm sure your wife would be understanding, take the front passenger seat out coming back.  The engine will slip right in.  Galen can then bring both her and the seat back down when it's convenient.

I'm just trying to help Billy.
I've met his wife and she's really nice and understanding about such matters.  With it being Christmas time and all, maybe she would even be extra understanding.
My wife is very understanding with me and the boating thing, but I'm not sure she would be that understanding though.
Merry Christmas all.  :smile17:

Great job Galen, the power curve looks great for a lake/race flat. Once Billy gets that boat proped and geared it'll easily run sub 9.0s and around 125. She's gonna be a rocket next summer'

Congratulations Galen & Billy  clap.gif

I would just like to tell Galen what a hell of a job he did with the engine ,, All I can say it is a freaking monster.. It way exceeded my expectation ..  jump.gif jump.gif jump.gif jump.gif jump.gif jump.gif jump.gif

It was so freaking much fun helping Galen and Yancy to Dyno my engine .. It is cool to have some one tell you what to do and watch the power to start to come in .. The Video on Facebook is the first couple of runs while it was a little lean .. But they got that problem corrected quick ..

Here is the Dyno sheet number 6 that was the best that we did with my BLP 1050 Dominator

Again a BIG THANK YOU to Galen ..  jump.gif jump.gif jump.gif jump.gif

Can some one snag the Video from Facebook on my page and post it here .. I am not smart enough to do it and it is too freaking big to email..

That's awesome.

There's great horsepower and torque with the numbers in the RPM range I would like to see.
With the right gears it'll be a fun summer. (For you)
Merry Christmas.

Leave the 32's in it with 20% slip 110 MPH 117.3 at 15% may be time for 37's no 110/117 is fast enough. jump.gif

32's would be an excellent place to start. IMO
You may end up using 27's or 29's, but nothing lower, and the 37's will give you bigger mph, but kill the acceleration.  It's not a hydro.
Put a 7500 chip in to protect the motor and shoot for 7200 to 7400 max RPM at either flash or top end.
It'll be a fun ride.
