Something with Photobucket changed awhile back regarding their hosting, I haven't messed with any other ones.

Can he even access the gallery?

A bug… I posted a water pump issue I was experiencing soliciting some advice. It shows up under “latest posts” but not when you click on “what’s new”. I don’t facebook and never will. Is this THB website going to slide into obsolescence? I’m hoping not.

Good morning,

My apologies on the delay, but I was able to confirm that the post shows up in both "Latest Posts":

And in the "What's New" section:

Just wanted to confirm if that what you are referring to / if it is working on your end

Thanks,
-Cameron

As long as I am kicking, and people post every now and then, it will not go away. I thank you for your posts, we need more people to post up to keep our boat friends engaged!

I couldn’t agree more! I’m surprised how few post here. I’ve seen so many go-fast boats during outings yet this site is so quiet. I’d love to see guys posting that they’re planning to hit the water somewhere in my area as I’d likely hook the boat up and go join them.

I live here at Cedar Creek Lake and I’ve found this lake to be quite nice and smooth Monday through Thursday. Lots of boat ramps including a private one at the end of my street that is maintained by our POA (and I have a key)…

Who’s in?

They had a 4th of July event there one year. I believe it was at the Salina Bay RV park. It wasn't fancy, but we really had a good time!

Interesting. There is a quiet looking location on the southern end of that lake having a public boat launch and a beach next to it. Good reviews too! I may drive out that way to scout the location before dragging the boat out there. I have lots of time off so I don't mind the drive. I'll let you know what I find.

I took a drive with my wife to Lake Palestine to scope the area out. The "Deep End Boat Launch" was a nice low-key twin concrete ramp with plenty of parking across the street for your rig. No services were in sight except some trees throwing shade here and there. We then drove up to Salina Bay RV Park. We felt that place wasn't for us and our equipment. I think it may have fallen on hard times since you last saw it.
My wife is looking for a place on Lake Palestine where we could stay and have both ample parking and convenient water access. We don't do the RV thing, just tow our boat around for good times. If my wife should find some adequate accommodations I'll let you know.
What kind of boat will you be putting in the water?
