Did you put on a taller intake? Or different scoop or something, scoop didn't always stick out like that did it?

Hey Kenny, How have you been.

The scoop is new. I changed the intake manifold and added the scoop. ran out of room under the hood so I made a hole.

alright guys, i am going to be getting rid of the super ghetto third seat tonight and replace it with a less ghetto rear bench. The problem that i have is my engine hatch comes down at a 45 deg angle in the front, which is going to take away from the useable rear seatback height in order to make it look right.

My question to you guys is how high from the floor (lets say at the port and starbord edges, not the center) is the seat cushion.

I am thinking i might have to set my rear bench lower than most in order to have an acceptable amount of seatback cushion, but i want it high enough that you can see out of the boat still.

in the pic below, you can kinda see what i am talking about... i think i might need to redo the hatch, and lose the slope it has.

Any help would be greatly appreciated, cause i do plan on trying to do this tonight.

Here it is undergoing a major resto now. Ground down to bare glass, gutted, new stringer additions, aluminum fuel tanks, new floor, custom Gel-Coat job planned, new interior etc...

My back seat is pretty close to the floor, I can measure it if you like (if you haven't done yours already). Here's a pic of it, not sure if thats what you're looking for or not...
