Drama needs to be kept off the boards....especially since this is the World Wide Web and Texas hotboats is accessible from anywhere in the world.....just ask Cash Hole as he posts from Korea...

Seriously guys, I don't like to read about drama and I think that speaks for about 99% of us on the boards.

Well, thats true & I agree with ya... and I'd say a large percentage of the time, the board runs just fine on its own other than stuff the admins gotta do like activating new accounts, handling the spammers, stuff like that. It would be nice if everything was kittens & sunshine all the time, but every now & then some shit will come up & it needs to be handled. That holds true on any board.

This comes up every now & then.. not the first time & unfortunately I'm sure it won't be the last. Take from that what you will. :wink:

I hear ya bro but the dirty laundry doesn't always have to be hung out on the line for all to see..... that's what email and PM's are for.

Now that there has been plenty to think about on this thread. It is not an easy job to hold and I don't think people should  vote for who should or should not be mods. It draws lines among friends and that is not what I want. I guess the best thing would be everyone just mod or police yourself. We have got to top notch site here and yes we are looked at from all over the world. Look at NitroNeil and his sone that we just sent a care package to from donating THB memebers. Don't think those guys fighting for our rights won't be proud of us and who we are. I think if we channel our energy on next year and events for nest year. I would like to see us set the standard for other boating sites. We gotta work together to make this site great or greater. Thanks to all that support this site and all it stands for. In all seriousness, the site definitely needs members to look over it. That being said, there are a few members whom I think would be rite for the position. I would create a profile named Admin or Mod that they could all log in as, and police the board. That way no one would have to wear a badge with their info on it! think.gif

Wouldnt matter if you were invisible or not! or made a decision or not, your decision will be changed for you as they have always been in the past

Still agreein with ya, but its inevitable that some folks just can't help themselves though & feel the need to throw it out there. So, once that happens, it has to be dealt with in some fashion, wouldn't you agree? :grin: Kinda like a trash can, its only gonna hold so much & then the trash has to be taken out.
