Even if its not an event, find some place to go & check it out.

Speaking of which, seems like its been brought up before, but what makes something an "event" versus say... a weekend at the lake.

I would say a gathering at the lake is Hey I will be at Sommerville if anyone wants to go out which could also be called a gathering.  An Event seems to be something that is planned well in advance usually hosted by one or more individuals, and typically is an annual thing, oh and has a cool name for example JetFest, HydroFest, BCR (well not really a cool name but it is Kona's dealio), EO's End of Year Party, Rockin' the Cove, ETC....

David and I have been thinking about Jetfest but his schedule is kinda messed up right now. Maybe sometime in June. How would that work for everyone?

give or take about 20 boats, that is about it


i have a question cause i have the CRS how many years have we been doing welchfest/RTC now? that weekend is usually a blur

From the very beginning or since you started doing it?

I'll answer both: first year for Welchfest in 2007 & went to 2010 with it with Bert. You then ran with it from there, now its into the future & beyond! :grin:

being this far away I can't see why not. Just have to pick a date & see how it shakes out as it gets a little closer. Would it be based out of the marina again or Sunrise?

just wondering, probably going to work in 8th annual or something into it like that on the shirts this year.
