Just let me know when. Now that my boat is running pretty good I'm ready to go back...
We all beached our boats on the right side of the boat ramp. plenty deep and sandy bottom..
That's cool! I want to go spend the weekend there! Probably set something up after Tawakoni! :smile30:

What are water level conditions there? I've seen pictures and video oof Conroe, Somerville, etc, can't really tell what Gibbons feeds, but it it ok to launch and ride there now? We've been going to Love's to put in, but the ramps are iffy if the tide is out, and it's salt all the way to the damn dam.

To the best of my knowledge Gibbons is 4 feet down. It is a private lake for the power plant. So it's not being drained to support Houston like the rest of them.

When we were there 2 weeks ago, they said it was about 4 ft low.  I ran my depth finder the whole time I was out there, and the middle of the lake is 18-20 ft, launch is about 6-8 and the shore to the left of the launch is a gradual slope that was about 4.5 ft at the back of my boat.
