This is the Hatemail for Patch thread.  Patch I hate you I want your garage to work in.  You can keep the projects in it though I have enough of my own.

LOL

SIdewinder I'll stick with my tube for now or I can always paddle the bay boat.  Actually the bay boat came with a small motor need to take a look at that and see about getting it running.
I think if you paddled your tube a little less, you mite get something done on your boat! :smile30: crazy.gif

X2

I never said I paddle my tube  I think you guys are thinking more about yourselves in that one.  I did paddle the bay boat though.  Now time to get back to work.  If the weather gets a little warmer I might be able to get some more work done.
On your tube or one of your boats? think.gif

Loan me the garage for a week and might be able to get the CJ turned out minus the motor.

Who needs a garage? The weather is mild in your neck of the woods. I did a complete stringer/floor removal and replacement in my driveway and street..... without the luxury of a garage, canopy or shop. In fact, the Crusader was the third boat that I restored in that way.

We even installed the motor out in the open....albeit we had a canopy as the outside air temp was 105F in the shade.

I think you're just making excuses again......just get out there and get the job done.

Fuk it , I will call your bluff . CJ , bring that POS and all the material to put it back together to my shop . I will let you use my tools , my air compressor , my spray guns , and anything else I have that you might need . Hell , I will even lend a hand on that damn thing . Just show up ready to work .

Right now its the temps the resin wont setup right.  but I am finally getting ready to get this all done and getting everything else off my plate.

I know you all are frustrated with it so am I and my wife is finally on board with me finishing it although I don't know if it's because she is wanting to use it or cause she sees it as an eyesore.

I can do it all outside and if we get some good weather weekends will get it done.  As the wife told me this week at least we can get it back together and just waiting for the motor.

So I guess the ball is in CJ's court... will he give in to Spd's advances, I mean offer to help... or will he sandbag it with another excuse to keep the posting tradition alive.

Hogwash.....you can purchase hardener to set up for the temperatures you're working in.

I worked my resin in chilly temps too..... not all that difficult to do.

LOL looks like that one backfired.
Aw, I dunno... just BSn around and all, but truth be told.... I still ain't never met Spd face to face, but he seems to always say whats on his mind & doesn't sugarcoat chit. So if he offered to help out, the offer would be genuine I'd say and you might get that Chrysler on the water before the collapse of society as we know it. It would be like that movie "Ghost" where instead of making a clay pot together, ya'll be building a boat together... lol!!

Yeah , I don't really see the whole clay pot scene reenactment happening , but I am starting to think that the only way the Chrybaby boat will ever see water again is if someone holds CJ's hand and walks him through the rebuilding process . And yes , if I offer help to someone I will actually make good on it . I am actually kinda bored these days , having a project to kill some time would be nice . I do have the TX19 , but I am not really ready to get into spending alot of money on it , and all of the easy cheap stuff is almost done on it . All that is left to do on that project is to start spending some big money on stuff .

Gawd I hope not, lol...

But ya, I hear ya on the rest of it. Oh well, I guess if he decides not to take you up on it, we will have something to read thru the wintertime. I'm somewhat undecided on whether that is a good thing or not. :cheesy:

I didn't mean that in a bad way I took
A pic with my cell of the boat it is one of
Them Norman Rockwell pic but it won't
Load off my phone sorry didn't mean to
Get you ambushed my bad I will get home
From hunting and post pic it is a neat pic

Crusader My epoxy from Aeromarine doesn't have different hardners for different temps.  I suppose I could completely tent the boat and put in a heater would work like a garage or it could work just take longer to setup.

Spd I really was only kidding on using Patchman's garage was trying to get this thread back on track as a hate thread.  I do appreciate the offer and if Crosby was closer than 200 miles or 3 hours I might take you up on it.  I am sure your wife wouldn't appreciate me sleeping int he garage for a week.  I am real close to taking a week of vacation off to work on finishing the CJ and a couple of other projects that need to get done.  Call it excuses if you want but when the wife is fed up with the boat not being done means I will finally get time to get it done.  It could also be that since I have been adding more projects she just wants something done.

CJ, think about this man... all the smack Spd has talked now here is your chance for the ultimate revenge. Parking that thing in Spd's shop where he has to see it over & over. And better yet him actually working on it. Hell he may even throw in a free hair-do....

If she is like my wife you get to many
Projects and she get mad all well go
Are you will go but I feel you I still
Don't have freeze plug in my boat
So all I have is big lawn deco with
A bad transom ,leaky plug ,and that
I do tires for a living my boat is the
Only boat on the block with a flat,
