Yeah , I see that stuff out there , but it sure would be nice to get away for a weekend .I hope it rains here all weekend , we need it ..
I really hate to pull my boat in the rain also,  it sure makes a big mess and I do not like to pull it with a cover on it,

I hope for them , that  it clears up and they can do some boating, if not they are going to consume a lot more alcohol .. LOL..

You know it's raining hard when you look ouside at your boat and the bilge pump is running and your drain plug is out.

My outside salesman just called and they are getting golfball sized hail between New Braunfels and Fredericksberg. Hope the hail stays away from here.

You ain't lyin, I was talkin to George yesterday, towing with a cover usually is a pain in the ass. I have sure been thinking of something along the lines of a cockpit cover though. Something that could snap on & off, just covering the interior. Seen a guy at Plowmans that had one on a Taylor, pretty slick setup....

WOW ; Never thought about that , that is when an automatic bilge pump would be worth the money in case the drain hole got plugged up with trash and water got up to the starter and other electrical stuff.

Yeah , hope that golfball hail stay away from here .

Those cockpit cover would be nice , I just don't really care for the snaps on the boat after you take it off .
If I was pulling it a lot , I would probable do it though ,

Yeah, that is one of the things I would not like either, the snaps showing. I was thinking if they could be down on the inside edge, might not be too bad. They would be out of line of sight & wouldn't have to worry about snagging stuff on them getting in & out of the boat.

Guy that did my seats, made a soft top for a truck I cut the roof off of awhile back, figure if he could do that, he would be able to come up with something, lol.... Just need to drag the boat up there one day & see what he comes up with.

Leaving the house right now, headed out to Colet. Hasn't rained since around lunch, who knows what may happen though. It has been windy, but I can deal with that. The systems seem to have swung more north, so we may just be on the edge of the stuff? Far as tomorrow, shows to be slackin off in the afternoon. Maybe OB can confirm....

Talk to you people later. Hope everybody has a good weekend, one way or another. :smile15:

Hydrofest gallery is up now, if you got'em post'em. It wasn't a bad event for a place where is doesn't rain as Duane would say. I think we all had a great time.

Hope everyone had a great time. I got to go and meet a lot of new members and seen some really nice boats. It was great to see old freinds that I haven't seen in 2 years. Overall the weekend was great, when it was raining it gave us time to socialize. When the rain stopped and the sun came out so did the boats and the bikini models. This is done and will go down as a memory and looking forward to the next event.
