Sweet V says,........."I'll bring the beans".......so, I need to know...............what the hell does that mean and what do I need to bring to go with "the beans".
Are we looking at a "bean dinner" or what?
Are you a "beaner" or what?
Do I need to bring a "bean dip" or what?
Help me out here,...........I'm not a beaner.

Ok sillly We can't drink beer all weekend, I thought I'd make a pot
of chili or baked beans to go with the bbq like last time.

sounds great, Jim! I'm not sure exactly what's on the menu yet....(i want something fresh) :smile17: I'm thinking some wild hog again, maybe some shrimp........who knows...maybe both again..... :smile20:

Cornbread and beans............................................I'm in.

I figure I'll just hang out around Duane's spot and see what happens.

Maybe make some carrot sticks.

Do you think Marty will bring that machine of his?  :smile20:

I just want to show up and relax, enjoy the company and if I get to eat too, that would be a plus.  :smile15:

You know..........................you got me thinking.....................I think I will make a big batch of seafood gumbo with cajun sausage and shrimp.
I love gumbo and make a pretty good one if i say so.

how about some bugs ?? h3 someone made some good bugs. I can not remenber who did the cooking .. I do know that they were great !!! :smile15:

I can cook up a wicked batch of bugs. I will be more than happy to cook them and bring the pot and cooker. I have a 100 qt pot so I can cook a sack at a time. Just need help getting the bugs and I can take care of the rest just let me know.

I have already started collecting rollie pollies.................I have a million of them in my back yard. Guess you could use them on a tossed salad or in a spagetti sauce.
I tried a few in the micro wave but,...............well maybe you could give me a few pointers?  :smile15:

Sauteed with garlic and butter makes those little rascals taste pretty dang good :smile17:

Hey Nitro,.............it would be great if you and yours could make it down. It is always great to see some of our older members getting out.    :smile15:

If you do make it down, bring some north Texas bugs. The colder weather up there really helps preserve the flavor as they are frozen most of the winter.  :smile12:

Oh yeah, bring Bill and Cindy with you.    :smile22: :smile22:

Things seem to have gone stupid................they tell me my reservations seem to have "gone away" and I need to call Monday to see if they can fix the problem and make things right.
Hopefully we can still get in,....................
It will still be a great event and I hope everyone can make it.  :smile22:

I just called to make sure my reservations were set and they were.  So, hopefully no one else was effected.  Good luck Steve.  I'm sure they'll make room for you some how.  :smile15:
