Hey everyone I'm new to the forum and new to owning a Jet boat. I have been watching the south and central forum since May. I have been learning alot about the boat through this forum. I would love to see yall out on the water.

here is a picture of the boat on our first time out. It was a short pass, did not know the owner turn off the water to the motor. It was almost costly!

Is there a good head shop near Bastrop or Austin. I have a ford 460 and the heads need a little work.

Thanks for all the welcomes. I have been planning to go to jetfest. A few days ago I was out on little lake bastrop and got a knock in the motor. Pulled the heads and found that i ate up a piston. I never seen a piston break down like that. Looks like it had nitrous on it but it hasn't. It was only one piston, I'm hoping to flip the motor over and make sure the bottom end is ok. if it is I'm going to change out that piston and take another run at it.

P.S. when you were talking about the river are yall talking about he colorado in Columbus, tx.
