Well that was a first for our team. We had #1 qualifier in the first round. We got bumped to #4 on the second round. Then came the third and final round of qualifying. Tim was looking for a 5:60 and we got a 5:62. That locked in our #1 qualifier position. Sunday rolled around and we never even got to warm up the boat. The wind was blowing and just wouldn't let up. So around 3:00 pm they finally called the race which gave us a victory by default. All in all it was a great weekend. We did have one casualty, Robert Anderson had a part failure which led to his boat sinking. They did get it recovered, and we are hoping he can get it fixed and back on the water soon. All in all a great weekend for Knotty Racing!
