lol, jus messn with ya. the old vdrive was over by Yegua somewhere. the old cabin cruiser rig was way up in that cove across from Welch. Don't think either one of them are anywhere in the main area of traffic where people be runnin around.

cool beans I thought there was another vdrive over by birch creek but I could be wrong idk

hadn't heard about that one, John may know thats his stompin grounds out there. There is a thread somewhere he posted with maps posted by him & Matt/Last Mohican that showed them old boats.

Don't know of a boat over at birch, never beach up there so not a problem, I do know I'm not going to beach east of the ramp at pecan where I stepped on something and sliced my foot open last year

is that where we were beached last year when that a hole wake board boat came

When we were there that weekend the water level was about where it is now.  Later on in the summer when the water level was -7 to -8 ft we found all kinds of anchors and stuff in the mud right at the edge of the water level down there.  Was a lot of tree roots down in there when they flooded it and I guess over the years people that anchored there to fish or whatever just lost their anchors.  We also found wheels, barrels, and various funny shaped metal objects that I guess fishermen had dropped down there to go back and fish around (like the christmas trees they drop in the lake).  There is a guy who goes out there and gets all the metal cans and any scrap metal he finds and I am sure he took all those metal anchors, wheels and all that from anywhere near the edge of the water while he was out there, seeing that the price of scrap metal was at something high like $13.50 per hundred pounds a couple months ago.  It should be cleaner than before, for sure, and if the water level rises back up to -3 to -4 ft there shouldn't be anything to step on, it was nice and clean back in August and it dropped another 2 feet or more from end of August before it started to fill back up again in the Fall.

Im pulling my boat out of the shed tomorrow to run it a lil bit and charge the battery up.  Gonna start hitting Somerville in about 3 weeks so it's almost time!  Excited!

I'm with ya' gonna let the logs and trash dissipate for a couple of weeks
