Nope.  They couldn't prosecute the guy.  He was dead.  Turns out, it was my understanding the guy was in bad health and owed some medical bills.  So, he dumped the car and claimed it was stolen.  The Poe Poe said at the time of recovery, he was gonna get nailed with all sorts of fines from the EPA.  A fine for every fluid and hazardous material in the car.  Even washer fluid!

If your boat every goes down, they will get you for these violations as well. I have this coverage in my insurance. It will bankrupt you.

:smile18:  just talked to a friend still in austin and he said that they are going to close the last public ramp on travis.  Another one of my friends said that they had to move his marina out of its normal cove into the main channel.  and they are going to give pontoon boat rides to the slips.  it is getting bad down there.  :smile25:
