NTJBC End of season GTG Sunday Nov 14th

NTJBC  Will be hosting a GTG at Collin Park on Lake Lavon Sunday Nov 14th.  There will be brat's, chicken and what ever else we can scrounge up to cook on the grill.  BYOB.  Starting around 11:00 AM.  Hope to see you all there.

(Ken asked me to start a post.  If anyone has more details please post em up.)

Also if weather looks like its going to be bad on Sunday the 14th.  It will be held on Sat the 13th at 11:00am

I have about 5-6 packs of brats at the house I'll bring out, and make another mac salad. If you need more grill space I can bring the mesquite smoker too, ei. 55 gal drum cut in half...

Oh, it wouldn't be a worthy North thread without this small detail.. My FORD will be there to lay the smack down on some Chevies.. LOL

At 55 mph, I think my boat is the slowest one in the club (not including Don and Dons whose boats are GM's and are broke dick) so I won't run my mouth too much. Lol.

Well since you're bringing so many brats, I'll bring the brats I have and enough buns for everyone.

The weather forecast has changed for Sunday 11/14 from a 60% chance of rain to a mere 30% chance so we should be good.  My sons football team has season playl offs on Saturday so if the party moves to Saturday, I'm not sure we will make it.

Just checked www.weather.com and it's now calling only a 20% chance of rain for Sunday 11/14. Looks like we'll have a nice day then.

Time to shoot one last "roost" of the season!!

If the weather is anything like today it is going to be a great gathering.  Wish I had two tow vehicles.  I'd take both boats.

0% chance of rain on Sunday now!! Might be a little chilly with a high temperature forcast to be 63F......but that's okay, nothing a windbreaker won't fix.

Man........ I'm going to try like hell to make this. Unfortunately I am having my wisdom teeth cut out on Friday. I may not be able to eat but I should be good with a liquid lunch.

Hope you like mashed potatoes.  I was fine after I had mine out a couple of years ago.  Don't take me wrong it sucked but I was not home bound or anything.

Be careful with those straws though.  From what I hear you do not want dry socket....  (In my best Beavis voice:  huh huh, huh huh...  I said "dry socket")

So far the weather forecasters are predicting a 30% of rain, hi of 61 degrees with winds out of the NE at 7mph.

Not too bad of a day, probably be a little overcast....just need a light sweater for the ladies and kiddo's. Us guys, well we can warm up drinking some JD or copious amounts of buurs!
