So what are all you racers doing on the off season? New power plants, bottom work, prop combo, maybe a paint job. Or maybe getting ready to become a racer, still post up. Your fans, and future fans want to know! :smile21: :smile16: :smile16:

Wow, you have some expensive habbits! The sand drag truck looks interesting! My friend bought one, but sold it before we could go out with it! crazy.gif

The s-10 is getting built on a budget for sure... I think I have about 2k invested in it so far? That's the truck,axles,transmission,transfer case,tires,and block I scored from trey here on the thb! 👍 fixing to have to start spending a little money to tho? Got to get the suspension mocked up and see what need to beef the axles up a little? But I'm pretty sure if I count my beans real close I can be all in for about 5k?

He had a c-1500 truck. It had a 427 with a glide and cut boggers. I believe it had a 4-link under it. :smile30:

Knotty building motors, now that is a scary thought! :smile20: He has an engine builder working with him on this one! :smile30:

I have a ton of upgrades going on this winter, none include motor work or fiberglass which is nice for a change. The biggest change is going to thru transom headers. Going for the family truckster look, backseat is going in next season. My biggest uprade performance wise will be focused on the pump, going to SS detailed impeller and double drilling bowl and machining it for O rings, putting stiffeners on the ride plate and going to a back cut shoe. 



I had to move the bottle to make way for the back seat



I also locked out my diverter, the cable set up left alot to be desired and I didn't want the clutter of a hyd unit.

I had to bore the cable hole to make room for the heim joint.



New adjusting rod with heim joints.



I needed a diverter up stop so I went ahead made a few.



That's it for now, bowl goes on the mill next week.
