This thread has gotten quiet! I know someone else has to be working on something out there! think.gif

I have been started back working on one of my other projects, but it is not the one I would really like to be working on.  :smile19:  Cliff is probably the only one that would be interested in seeing it.  Although.....it is fiberglass. think.gif

Actually,  with my parents getting to be the age they are and the issues that are going along with it, I decided I need to have a good "road trip" vehicle. It has become apparent that I will be taking a lot more trips back to NM so I am going to get the Vette back on the road. Even though it was relatively minor damage, it has been out of commission since the wreck back in 2002. It has been on the back burner for a long time and I wasn't planning on messing with it until the v-drive was done but now I think I will be needing it. Most of the body work is done and I am not going crazy with it so it shouldn't take too long.

sweet car, whats the story on it? Needs sidepipes. :smile16:

The story is the same as most all of my projects seem to be right now. I have a ton of parts for it and not enough time to put them on and build it. I built it once already about 19yrs ago but rebuilding it after it got hit in 2002 just hasn't been a priority until now. I have a big block for it (with sidepipes) LOL but I am not putting it in right now. I will leave the stock motor (which is low hp but runs fine) in it for now until I decide what direction I want to go with the car.

Looks like an '80. I had an '81 that looked identical to this one except I had glass T-tops.

It is an 82 and I have both the mirror glass tops and the fiberglass tops for it. I also have the stock hood or the L-88 hood that is on it now and it has a custom back bumper that will be modified and molded on along with molding on the front bumper. That will be the only changes for now until, like I said above, I decide what direction I want to go with it.
