Pate museum Car Auction June 5th

The Pate Museum is going to auction off all of the old cars that thay had in the collection. This is where the large Pate Swap meet started from years ago . Sure is sad to see this place close . I pass it everyday driving home ..

I wish i could get a couple of these cars m but I am sure they will be way out of my price range .
67 GT 500 Mustang
63 Corvette
66 Olds 442
and a lot more cool old cars

I think we will go and pay the 10 dollar entry fee just to see what the prices of some of these card go for .

Wonder why they would close the place down, thats quite a collection, it says they are adding more each day.... That would be a cool auction to sit in on...

I wouldn't mind bringin this home.... Too bad it ain't black....

It's at Texas World Speedway in Denton now! Not the same as the old musuem facility though! :smile25:

I  miss the old Pate Swap Meet also , it was better than the new one at the Speedway , plus it was closer to my house .

The Swap meet will be May 1st and May 2nd at the Texas Motor Speedway . We are planning to go and look around . Need a small block dual plane intake for the old camaro . so going to pick one up there if I can find a good deal .
A few of us will go and just watch the action , Like I said , I am sure they will bring some good money .. I am not a ford person , but that 1967 GT500 Fastback would look good in my garage and I would be proud to own it .  ..
