Guys,

i have been working on a web site to show my ProMod build and make it where you can see all of the pictures in high resolution.

Take a look at it when you get time. All of the pictures on the site show in full resolution if you click on them. Follow the instructions on the site to see the build. I will be adding detailed pages of my build as I get time.

If you want to get notified of updates you can request that on the site.

Man that looks crazy with that camera angle! Not a bad idea learning to drive in a little slower car at first! clap.gif clap.gif

Hey guys,

I haven't updated everyone in a while so here it goes. A lot has changed since I last posted here. I decided to go all in on the Corvette. I decided to make some serious horsepower and bought a billet AJPE Hemi with BAE 8 billet heads on it. I also had my blower and injector hat worked on by Mike Janis. He brought everything up to current technology so the engine should make some serious horsepower now!!

I also decided to put a Quick Lock lockup converter drive with a B&J Big Boy 3 speed tranny in the car to handle the horsepower.

I have also moved everything around in the car to fit me better. I still have a ways to go but plan on an early 2019 debut of the car.

As always I am fabricating everything myself and I am having a great time pulling it all together.

I still think of the boat that I traded to Shawn for the car and still keep up with him. He has made the boat his as I have made the car mine.

I am posting some pictures but you are welcome to visit my blog where I document the entire build and my life stories. As usual God is blessing me more than I deserve.

Come see the blog at :

Have a great day,

Boat racing season is back on, you can still come visit us at one of the events!  :smile17:

Patch,

I would love to go to the races this year. I hate that I missed Waco. We were in Waco the weekend before but were busy the week of the races.

I love that place.

Guys,

I have not posted here in a long time but decided to look around tonight. I saw my old posts and decided to say hello and tell you guys about my adventure.

We shut down the ProMod adventure during Covid but are back at it again hot and heavy. We did 9 test runs before the world shut down and ran our first sub second 60 ft time. We also ran a personal best ET for myself and shut the car off at 550 feet.

During the shutdown, I decided to completely redo the car focusing on losing a bunch of weight. The body was heavy! I am putting a new lightweight carbon body on it that reduces the weight around 125 pounds. I am doing a bunch of other stuff to reduce weight too.

We also began building an NHRA legal ProMod car so I can race 1/4 mile National events (If I can qualify). We plan to debut the new car at the Fall Nationals in Dallas in October of 2023. I think we will be done by then.

I have a new blog page that tells the story about our adventure.

Take a look if you get a chance:

Glad to see you are still around! The car is looking awesome! I'm hoping to make it out to the track a couple times myself this up-coming year. I have a close friend who has a gasser and wants to go race. Keep us informed with your progress, and glad to hear you and the family are doing well!
