I need to check out those 7 cell battery packs Duane mentioned. Not sure if there is room in these things or not. The one I started with (used) back in '92-'93 may very well be operational here in a little bit.  :smile26:

they make a 7 cell flat, as well as a 7 cell hump style....the flats fit in my rc 10t4....too bad an 8 cell won't fit...

No way a 7 cell flat will fit in these old ones I got, it have to be a hump style & only if the stacked cell is in the right spot at that.

I've got this old gold tub RC10, I'd like to see about gettin it goin. Have a feeling some of the nylon/plastic components on my Traxxas stuff may be a kinda brittle by now, lol.. Problem is, I can't remember who the RC10 belongs too.

Does it run as it is? Why would you wanna convert it?

And on that note: woo-hoo, my Radicator runs on its own. Ran it around on the floor did some donuts & leaving little baby black marks, lol... Not too shabby for a 21 year old car. :cheesy: Now when the traffic dies down, I'll take it outside. Hate for some fool in a Freightliner to do a number on it should it get out of range or something, lol...

So one down, two to go. :smile17:

Kona doesn't fly real planes, I used too. It was a jet certification for r/c jets. I think it's for insurance purposes.

That's what I thought! He said there is a school that does everything. The plane is probably the cheapest part of the deal. I checked on that turbprop and it was 5K for the motor alone!
