There was also one called Intellivision around that time. My cousins had that one..

LOL, Burgertime, I remember the original arcade game of that...
I had that with a game called B-17 Bomber. What a blast if you could get used to disc instead of a joystick.

This is funny coming from a couple of sausage stuffers! While I was at the track, you guys where packing meat with each other! And Kona it's time for a new sim if it still needs a game card! That thing must be an antique! No wonder you are having PC issues, you can't plug an Atari joystick into a computer! crazy.gif :smile26:

My kid got to use his Traxxis Stampede monster truck five times (5 battery charges) before the darn thing quit working. Now when I charge the battery, the steering servo works but the main motor doesn't do anything. When we pressed the on switch...it would flash green several times and then flash red and we were ready to go....now all it does is flash green and won't move forward. Not sure whats up with that.

Any clues?

I'm not familiar with the newer Traxxas stuff, but sounds like somethings up with the speed controller. Here is a link to the Stampede section on the Traxxas webiste forum board: http://traxxas.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?39-Stampede I signed up over there not long ago, but you don't have to me a member to read the boards or use the search function.

They also have a tech line where you could call & ask 'em questions, may be something simple they can help you over the phone. 1-888-TRAXXAS (1-888-872-9927) or 972-265-8000.. They are located in Plano.

At one time, Traxxas had lifetime warranty on their stuff, I suppose they still do. Didn't matter what happened to it, they'd cover it.

Sorry I can't be of more help, let us know what you find out if you call 'em!

Okay, I'll chock this one up to being a "Newbee"..lol.

I called the Traxxis tech support line and told the guy what was going on. He said that we probably knocked the throttle trim knob on the radio controller and the car was searching for a signal. Well I just now went out to the Stampeded in my FORD powered pickup truck and set the trim on the controller to zero. Well sure enough, that fixed the problem.

Jacob will be happy for sure! He was REALLY down thinking he broke his favorite toy ever. To be honest, the Old man was a little disappointed too. Those things are fun man!!

Thanks D-man!!!.

Hey, it happens! Figured it would have to be something simple, didn't even think about the trim controls. Glad ya got it knocked out easily.  :smile16:

On a related note, when I drug all my junk out the other day, I couldn't figure out why the throttle positions were reversed when I was running the car. Took the controller all apart before running across the servo reversal switch (from the inside, doh!) Have no idea how that tiny little switch would have gotten thrown, but that fixed it.
