I didn't think we could keep you off the water.  Besides you have to get the Vdrive to water before you can quit.

Duane the setup looks real good can't wait to hear it run.

And yes, I'd have to say, 4th ford motor, 30 years in the water.....1 ford motor (the last) died from my fault, not the brand... :smile24: Other failures were from aftermarket parts (rocker stud, rod bolt, timing chain)....was it ford's fault, mine, or the aftermarket parts? who knows. Then again, this is my thread, and I feel like shit today, so, back the fuck off on hatin'

Its pretty hard to blow up a park bench. :cheesy: You don't have enough run time to make any kind of judgement calls on jet boat motor builds of any sort, junior... come back in 12 years or so when you've got some time under your belt & then maybe we'll talk, lol...

I actually have alot of experience with motors , performance motors , and boat motors . Dman is just jumping in to come to the rescue of one of his fellow ford lovers . Anyway , let's not clutter up Duane's thread with this debate , the Ford guys will never see the light anyway so there is little point in trying .

Not trying to rescue anybody, just responding in fun to another one of your pointless goofy-ass comments.  :cheesy:

Speaking of which, I doubt you ever thought your misguided comments about Fords were ever gonna convince anyone to switch powerplants. You would have to step it up several notches if you were. It was more just you being a shit-stirrer, which admittedly is something you sometimes do well.

Personally don't give a fat rat's ass what peep's think about what brand engine is in my boat. If I had any running engine, cadillac, olds, pontiac, chevy, whatever, I'd prolly use it. Just so happens I have ford stuff, so that's what it gets.

Anyone wants to donate a good running chevy, bring it by, with some motor plates, I'll run it. whatever.gif

Duane just wants to be on the water as soon and at the least expense possible.  Right now that's using the Ford Stuff he has there.  Kinda like me and the Chrysler although I am die hard chrysler if my boat had chevy stuff in it I would be putting a chevy back in it cause that would be the least costly way to do it.
