Ok, ya'll want a list, here it is:
Need:
Guages, interior, floor, rail kit, contol cables, steering and cable, driveline, trailer tires



All I do have is a hull (painted) an engine (533" 12.8 to 1, custom roller .726 268/276 @ .050, aluminum Trick Flow heads, single BG 1050) and a pump (12jg, dominator bowl, aggressor A impeller)
Now if anyone wants to donate, let me know. :angel:

:smile23: I've now got a list of 4 people willing to redo the floor for me....guess I better get some trailer tires, huh?
problem is, once I do get it going, I won't be able to afford the fuel.....

The economy here sux.....I make just enough to pay the bills (sometimes late), and I'm too damn tired after work to do side jobs that would normally pay for this stuff. Oh well.

Maybe next year?

I believe I have a spare column and pulleys. I had an extra rail kit,but loaned it to a friend. I will see if he's  is using it or not. I have a Berkley coupler (1310) I believe. Plus a bell housing for BBC.

Thanks, sputnic, the boat uses a standard rack and pinion, and it's Ford powered so the parts are a lot harder to find.

Ok, the official story:
I hadn't brought the boat out of retirement in 15+ years. I was talked into getting it going by a "friend" who wanted to use the boat for "bragging rights" (name on the back, etc.) we did some trading, and I ended up pulling the motor and replacing it in his powerstroke, twice....he was to do the paint and floor. What I got was maybe one coat of paint, and a pretty gelcoat-over-rotten floor. I was already in the process of mounting the engine, and wiring it, when my foot went through the floor. I then removed about 200# of water-soaked floor and foam.....of course he then said "that's what ya get", oh, and "it'll be OK like that"...needless to say, we parted ways. I lost interest, just a bad deal all the way around. On the bright side, I got another 200 #'s out of it. The old boat was a lot of fun, a stout 429 pushed an A/b impeller to 5,900. Should be a blast when it's done.
Thanks for all the offers, guys! I just need to buckle down and do it. I have a good set of headers, steering wheel and trim, I'd hate to slam it together after all this time, when I do take it out, I want it looking trick, and hittin' hard. Otherwise, it'll just sit in the shop that is almost paid for (20 more payments)

Waynesworld and I will help with the floor we do have some chop and mat might help get most of it done I think it might take 2 or 3 gals. :smile23:
and its easyer to lay glass with more than one lending a hand :smile13:

Its a jet, not v drive. If I think you are talking about the prop shaft coupling.

i'm just about finished with my floor in the kona and i have six gallons in it  :smile12:  Duane that is a really good looking boat ... do it right!!!!!!!!!!!!  :smile15:

Brought the old throttle pedal to work today...gonna try and bring it around....since we have nothing to do again..I had forgotten how bad it looks. I'll post some before/after shots.

Picture quality sux, using phone cam. I'll bring my camera after lunch.
