Well, quick update: I've been working for about a week now on trying to clean a set of valve covers....

I had bought a set of new powder-coated Trick Flow valve covers, and I wanted them purple to match the controls, etc., so I took them to a local paint shop, and gave them a sample of the purple color...now this is the same shop that perfectly matched and repaired 5 different colors on my Hondo....I got back pink valve covers.....

Anyone try and remove paint, primer and powder-coating before? :smile14:

Finally have them down to bare aluminum..... :smile23: Gonna try and have them done again...different shop.

Got my vacuum pump in, working on mounting brackets for the alt and pump....a little each day.....anyone seen my boat?

I have a guy up that does two stage powder coating, he did my diverter control on my Avenger for $25 and it looks like that purple anodized stuff...

Not really....need to go by the bolt store and get a bunch of stainless bolts to move forward...just can't seem to get across town during the week. Have to mount the front plate, balancer and pulley to start setting up the drive system...also still need a mini alternator...just money and time. As soon as I have what I need, My machinist will come over and we'll figure out brackets and such. Tomorrow I'll be finishing the twin turbo motor.

That's what I'm looking for, I want it all capscrews. They have em, just kinda pricey...if they don't have a certain length, I have to order a box...
I am also upgrading the coupler you brought from Mike..changing the hardware to grade 8, and replacing the u-joints with solid type. New straps as well.
