You know I am just playin with ya . It looks like the boat is coming along nicely , hopefully it will be ready soon . I hated building a boat so bad that I had to go out and buy another boat to drive before I ever finished the project . Those who say building them is half the fun must never have been to the river , that is more my kind of fun .

That's why i'm scared to take mine apart. Might take an act of congress to get it back together again.

Best thing you can do is drag it to someone to get the work done and get a scheduled completion time . That way you know how long the boat will be down . I took my Stevens to Duanne for some work on the v-drive box and got it back exactly when I expected to , If I had done the work on it myself it might still not be finished . I rarely have as much time to work on stuff , and really don't have a good place to do the work . If I had sent the first boat to someone I could have probably had it in the water in a few weeks time , but working on it myself was taking forever because I have so many other things that always seem to come first .

My problem is that I do too much work on everything else, for everyone else. I have never paid anyone to do anything. Plus hard to justify the 5,000 square foot shop in the backyard if I pay someone else to do something!

Duane,  with all the polish and chrome pieces on the two motors in your shop, does it glow on at night?

Engines are looking great, looking forward to seeing them both on the water.

Well, I'm sanding down and re-polishing the bowl....the machine shop put some scratches in it when they fit the trim ring, so......1000, then 1200, and polish again.....Got the trim ring polished and coated, though! I think I'm almost done with all the damn rubbin'

Sweet, that motor plate looks pretty slick. Foot pedal looks like it came out pretty nice as well. Now with that spray you got the little Sanger dude will be protected from your hoof, lol....
