Copyright Google 2012 just means that any image you are seeing is Copyrighted 2012 by Google Corporation. If you use Google Earth (the computer program, not the phone program) I am 100% sure you can flip through different dates/years to see different images.
Anywayz, Somerville is OVER full by more than 2 feet now, YES the lake has gone up 12-13 feet in just 3 months because of all the rain.

BTW: Pecan has always been a hangout for jetboats, long before I owned one I hungout there with my little Baja boat (16 footer) and there was always Jets over there. The cove is smooth water for playing and because the park and the ramp is free, it's a popular spot. Although to use that ramp, you need a 4x4 to launch/recover your boat/trailer, I've tried it many times with 2x4 with "normal" tires and never been able to get the boat back out of the water. Tried it with 3 different trucks, one of which was a Suburban, always had to get pulled out by another truck, but there used to ALWAYS be someone there waiting to pull people out and didn't charge for it, but you could donate them another beer or something if you wanted to! Those were the days, doubt it's like that anymore.
TTJ: My goal is to be at the ramp around 12-1 ish as my usual. Most likely will put in at Rocky Creek ramp. The same ramp we hungout at during Welchfest is the one I usually use, Rocky has two ramps the first one was closed by the low lake level, it's probably back open, but I never use that one I go down to the second one (the one we were at during Welchfest).
Kewl, I talked to Jody and found out that I have been to Pecan, by Boat only but I have been there. I hope they dont let any water go, it would be nice if the grass was killed off and there were some Beaches to hang on.shimp said:

ill try to make it out there my self around noonish. unless they tell me my boat is ready to pick up between now and then. It would be cool just to make it out there to meet some of ya and give TTJ some more hard time. lol ('kidding'). But yea I cannot wait!
ooo yea. ill bring my Contor (its like a gopro) cam. i want to see how well it works on the water. i also have a waterprof case but i dont have a way to mount that yet.. ill bring my little point and shoot camera also and try out this new video editing software i have.

Man really wish I could go but even if I wasn't camping with my son this weekend then I would be working on my boat.
Theres also CYFest going down this Fri / Sat / Sunday infront of Fairfield at mason RD and 290 by the outlet mall. Its going to be like crawfish fest in spring, without the ghetto.
