Sorry JJ .I talked to EO and I thought no one was going . I finally could not stand it any longer and I put in in Granbury and did some testing .. it was like glass here also , so I dumped it in and took my daughter and my son in law for a quick run . Wish you would have called , I would have ran down to Steel Creek .. Maybe next weekend we can all make it .. Jim said he will be ready by then also
JJ -I was still able to do a prop burn , I need to up the squiters in the carb and it will be better out of the hole .It had just a little hesitation , but it is in the carb .. E-85 did pretty good . It sure drinks it fast
Oil temp was still getting up around 210 after running steady for 20 minutes . After a couple of passes , oil still got to 240-245..
Oil cooler is working so I think it will be fine when I switch to Mobil 1 this week
Not for sure on the RPM , but I think I only got it to 6600-6700 .. I was hoping to spin it to 7000 rpm .. Maybe after some tuning it will get there , plus I did not run it too far out the back door..
Dam that E-85 sure smells funning coming out those hot headers
