I had a little race gas left over from tawokoni so I added 5 more gallons of race gas .. So I will just play burn up the 6 gallons in the tank and then switch back to E-85 after this weekend ..

I going to get the RPM number and max speed on the race gas to compare to the E-85

So it will be short and sweet testing for me , it will not take long to burn that 6 gallons of race fuel ..

We had fun yesterday .. Met a few new people and they had some nice boats .. One new jet and 2 new v-Drives ..  Beautiful day at the river ..
I think we had about 8-10 boat to show up .. I had a couple problem but was able to fix them on the water , broke a cavitation rod, spark plug gap shut and I think my ignition switch is going out , but was still able to run some ..  Time to switch back to E-85

Those are some nice pictures Billy.
Since I was late, they were obviously taken before I got there.  I would like to thank everyone for not giving me a hard time for being late without a boat and having to ask for a ride in a fishing boat to get to where everyone had gone.  The price of being late can be pretty high.  :smile20:

OK.  For those who don't understand Billy's comment, I have two boats.  One is a Cole TR-4 V-Drive, the other is a Hallett Mini-Cruiser V-Drive and neither one was ready.  The Cole should have been ready, but I am still practicing my excuses why it wasn't.  I am not smart enough to come up with any more excuses right now, so it had better be ready for the next time out.

Since I wanted to see everyone, I went to Steele Creek anyway without a boat and got there at my usual time, a little late, but everyone had already put in and gone down to our usual location which you can see from the boat ramp.  In order for me to get there, I had to ask for a ride with a nice stranger with a fishing boat.  When I arrived, everyone was wondering who it was coming into the middle of the performance boats anchored with a fishing boat.  I hope that I never have to hitch a ride at Steele Creek from a stranger again and try to explain why I wasn't ready with a boat.  :smile16:    :smile16:

I still had a lot of fun and met some new people.

OK --  We want at least one of your boats in the water next time Jim .. I prefer to see the Cole TR-4 myself with the fresh engine , but that nice V-Drive Ski Racer will work also ..

I am hoping I will have mine running a little better next time . at least the miss was an easy fix on the water this time ..I must learn how to install plugs with 13.6 piston in the holes ..  I will need to jet it way back up with the extra port work that was done to the intake .. She is lean !!!  I have 92 in it , going up to 98 and see what happens .. Alos need to learn to get off down plate a  lot faster .. I know I ride it way too long .. I am scared it might rodeo on me too bad .. Still had fun and got way to much sun ..
