Hope everyone is still planning on coming!  I'm calling the owner today to see where my email is. It don't look like everyone is for the extra money for food and band and we will all be visiting anyways so the band isn't that big of a deal. I will still posti up his offer. I just want a good turnout and the less money people have to spend the easier it will be for them to make the trip.

Well the deal with our HBB is that we've been at it for 4 years. we had alot of fund raisers and we actually charged to get in the first 2 years, but we had racing too. This is a first time event, gotta get some cash flowing before you can go balls out.

I'm not doing this for a club. Just putting together an event for everyone to get together meet people they haven't met and do some side by side testing. And because I was so excited to go to another event like Plowmans since I went last year and now its not happening this year.

No comments on the prices. I guess they are ok? I didn't have a scanner so I just typed everything straight from the price sheet. He hasn't emailed me the packaged deal and I didn't have time to call yesterday. I'm not too worried about it now.

Just throwing this out there.... The locals bring a dish of some sort they make at home. The out of towners bring ready to go stuff like soda, chips and buns and we have a Saturday night pot luck. If the stage has power I have a killer DJ setup in my bar that can defintiely get loud to handle the music. In fact, if someone has a portable projector screen I have everything else needed for a drunken fest karaoke night.

I can't believe this.... I forgot that my 30yr high school reunion is that weekend in Phoenix, bought and paid for.... and I'm seriously thinking of not showing up for that.

This is going to be way better.

Killer Idea! I might bring an old guitar, play some steve earl songs and drink beers for y'all LOL

Sounds like a good time there! I know it will be good times! If anyone has any ideas to help spread the word so we have a good turnout let me know. There is probably lots of people that go to events like Plowmans that don't get on this site.

As people make reservations ask how many cabins are left and post it so people will know if they need to go ahead and reserve one. I'll try to call the marina once or twice a week to help.

Go ahead and put my deposit on your card for me to.  Heck while your at it add Kona and Distrubed.  On third thought just get a deposit on what is left.  :smile17:
